Your First Steps

Before class begins, please make sure you:

1. Log into your Kajabi student portal here
2. Review your welcome materials.
3. Confirm your live virtual class schedule.
4. Complete any required student forms.
5. Confirm your approved dental office or externship site.
6. Make sure you have access to a laptop or desktop computer, reliable internet, webcam, and microphone.

What You’ll Learn

During the course, you’ll study dental x-ray safety, radiation basics, intraoral exposure techniques, infection prevention, image evaluation, Maryland dental radiology regulations, and DANB Radiation Health and Safety exam preparation.

The goal is to help you build the knowledge, confidence, and clinical foundation needed to move forward safely and professionally in dental radiology.

Important Certification Reminder

Successful completion of this course does not automatically issue Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist certification.

After completing the course, students are responsible for completing all applicable next steps, which may include the DANB Radiation Health and Safety exam and the Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist Certificate application through the appropriate agencies.
